WHAT is PNF stretching?
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. An increasingly popular modality that is extremely effective at increasing ROM in all types of clients.

HOW is the experience?
Like a massage, it is mostly passive. However with the nature of stretching being more movement oriented, it is a bit more interactive. Also, its fully clothed. Yoga clothes is heavily preferred.
WHY is stretching important?
We all accumulate injuries and dysfunctions in our bodies of the years that undermine our bodies ability to operate in an ideal norm. Of which, the vast majority of our chronic pain conditions are developed. It clears paths for our body to regain the diminished aspects of our structure that doesn’t get used often enough, or well enough in our day to day to maintain its integrity. * Stretch Therapy is geared towards enabling our clients to accessing a more optimal posture, as well as increasing the range of motion in joints that are chronically locking down, diminishing from our ability to use our bodies as they are designed. Achieving asymptomatic states is more easily maintained for increasingly longer periods of time when structure is moving towards symmetry. Fascial wellness and balance is crucial in this process, and can be acquired with regular stretching integrated with your massage routine.
